Teaching Philosphy.

     A student's job is to build dreams, set goals, and work hard.  A teacher's job is to help them get there.

 

    

     My Teaching Philosophy is simple:

     every student has the potential to be successful based on their own definition of success and every student deserves a fair opportunity to be successful.

 

     During my teaching experience I've heard comments like, "one person can't change the world" and "she's still in the 'faze' where she believes she can save them."  I disregard those comments; it only takes one person to a make a positive change.  I believe that teachers should remind students of their capabilities and show them that anything is possible, that giving up is never the answer, turn all the "cant's" into "cans", and show them that one person can make a difference.  This is my motivation for pursuing a career in teaching.  I have a passion for education and believe it is crucial to recognize that teachers are more than educators.  Teachers are role models, motivators and the person students can and do trust undoubtedly.  I am already this person and, as a teacher, can guarantee I will bring this optimistic, constructive influence and attitude to my students and teaching methods.
